The THiNC Printing Press v2.5 works in conjunction with the THiNC Book 2.0 (which is required) where you can publish your very own book to give out or even sell.  The THiNC Printing Press v2.5 creates an exact copy of your THiNC Book for unlimited distribution. Each publication produced has no modify but COPY & TRANSFER rights. The copy & transfer rights can be changed according to the authors preference.  The publication will display all the pages and look the same as the THiNC Book including the sounds,  page animations, HUD display and ease of use that it is known for.   Menu options was just recently added to the publication made with the THiNC Printing Press.  This will allow the user of the publication to find information about the book such as author, date published and other information. Also in the menu the ability to easily advance pages, especially helpful if you have a table of contents or a large book.   Other features such as the option for the user to change the size of the book, turn off sounds, turn on full bright pages and also the ability to hide the book in HUD mode.   Also new to the THiNC Printing Press the ability to include one of each a landmark, note card and a internet URL address.  The THiNC Printing Press has been chosen and trusted by many notable magazines, blogs, real life authors, and educators.

SECURITY:

Each publication is produced no modify keeping your work intact and to prevent people from copying your book unless you give them the right to.   Security was considered very highly in this product.  Most books scripts require full permission texture images to be present inside the book.  Any person who is  given the book will have the ability to pull the textures out or even to go as far to reproduce the book even if it’s set to no modify.  Each publication produced by the THiNC Printing Press is encrypted and contains no textures and can be easy reproduced and backup by keeping a copy of the books note card.

1.0 – Original Version

1.1 – Fixed HUD Issues with THINC Publications.  Also can handle time stamps in IMs.  Provided an Upgrade button to check for latest release.  Publications no longer shows Toneless Tomba as creator but an ALT (THiNCBook Projects).   If the alt was messaged an auto message explain to either contact Toneless Tomba or the author for questions.  

1.2 – Fixed unannounced SL changes how note card inventory is handled and behavior of scripts that use them.

1.3 – Limited release, more of a beta test but had the ability to have a internet URL address.

2.0 – Major Revision Upgrade

• Menu Options – Page Advance, Book Info, Hide in HUD mode, Book Preferences for user such as: Full Bright Pages, Sound off, and Size
• Ability to add one of each:  A landmark, a note card and a internet URL address (Access via menu for user)
• Backup option now sends items in a folder with the name of the book.
• Bug Fixes

2.1 - Bug Fix

• 1.18 Second Life update broke all Printing Presses. (A change in how llOwnerSay() is displayed in the client.)
• Improvements in the upgrade system in place. Should now have quicker response for upgrades.

2.1a - Minor Fix (llOwnerSay reverted back to old formating, changed error messages.)

2.1b - Bug Fix

• SL Bug caused resizing problems. A solution was found to call a different scripting command to resize.
• Bug found with page advance in menu feature. If someone used page advance, selected ignore and closed the book. The next user other than that person will get a message “THiNC Publication Menu, is currently in use. Please wait.” when nobody is using it.

2.1c - Bug Fix

• Fixed the ability to give out landmark & notecard.

2.2 - 2.4 - Versions skipped due to incorrect version numbering

• The version for the Printing Press and the THiNC Publication it produces will now have the same number.

2.5 - Feature Addition

• Resize the THiNC Publication when in HUD mode.
• Reset the user settings to default values on the THiNC Publication.
